         Required. The metric descriptor on which to execute the request. The format is:

     projects/[PROJECT_ID_OR_NUMBER]/metricDescriptors/[METRIC_ID]

 An example value of `[METRIC_ID]` is
 `"compute.googleapis.com/instance/disk/read_bytes_count"`.
